Neptune is
one of the major mechanical, electrical and air-conditioning
installation and servicing contractors within the South West
area.
We are a well established company and have been trading for
over 25 years building a good reputation of being reliable
and completing works to programme.
Our client
base has expanded considerably over the years but our
principal works are still with the
Department of Environment, health and local authorities. We
have also developed our design build capabilities and now
work in partnership with several major main contractors on
design build projects. We have designed and installed
heating, ventilation, hot and cold water services, gas
installations, air conditioning, electrical and control
systems, but are particularly pleased with our ever growing
progress with comfort cooling systems on design and build
projects.

We have an
inside staff of 28 who can offer contract management on
projects, including full design and contract control,
through to installation and commissioning. At present we
also have an outside staff of 69 who are site based. As a
company we produce a turnover of approximately £13 million
per annum.
Our health
and safety record is second to none and we have carried out
the duties of Principal Contractor on many occasions.
We are fully aware of the new health authority procedures
and have been included on the NHS ProCure 21 website as an
approved supply chain member that can be approached by
principal supply chain partners.
We are accredited under the Contractors Heath and Safety
Assessment Scheme (CHAS), EXOR, Constructionline &
SafeContractor Schemes proving compliance with, and sound
management of, current construction based health and safety
legislation.
We employ an independent Health & Safety Advisor, H&G
Construction Safety Association Limited who carry out
monthly site visits and report back with their findings.
They also monitor our in-house H&S procedures and provide
independent advice and training on these matters.
We always try not to exceed our capabilities and balance our
order book with our management team and practical skills at
all times.
